The worst tornado in U.S history occurred in Missouri, Illinois, and Indiana it was called The Tri-State tornado. The Tri-state tornado killed 695 people and and injured 2,027 people. The windspeeds for this tornado was 321 mph.

Sinc I was 8, I always wanted to be a severe weather expert and a storm chaser. I researched all tornadoes. I proably have half a notebook full on tornadoes. And me and dad are planning to go out on tornado alley this 2009 season to chase and video tape them and have me learn more abot tornadoes.

I was 9 when I started reasearch on tornadoes ever since May 18th, 2005 in the afternoon a funnel cloud was spotted and I was swimming and I was so scared that day my parents told me to reasearch tornadoes. I'm gonna be a Storm Chaser when I grow up.
