The Slytherin house in Potterverse is one I find very misinterpreted and often misunderstood. I mean, you don't HAVE to look at people like Malfoy. There's lags in every house: Cormac McLaggen the Gryffindor anyone? Or how about our Miss Lavender Brown and Parvati Patil? When you get down to it, Slytherins and Gryffindors are very much alike. I think it rather unfair that Rowling didn't give the Slytherins a chance, other than our wronged Severus Snape, who, frankly, was even more a hero than Harry Potter. Slytherin as a house is very, very misunderstood.
